What we collect

AdLivs works without an account. When you play, we collect and store the words you type into a story, the completed story text, and the generated image, so your creation can live at its shareable link. We also process your IP address to enforce the daily free-play limit and prevent abuse; the limit counter is a short-lived daily record that expires automatically after roughly 25 hours.

Cookies and similar technologies

Your choice on the cookie banner controls ad personalization and analytics cookies, not whether ads appear at all. If you accept, we set analytics cookies and allow personalized advertising. If you decline, analytics run in a cookieless, in-memory mode for your visit and ads are served in non-personalized mode — but note that Google still uses cookies or similar storage in that mode for frequency capping, aggregated reporting and fraud prevention. You can change your choice by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Analytics

We use PostHog to understand how people play and share (for example, whether a visitor who arrives from a shared link goes on to make their own story). Analytics data is not sold and is used only to improve AdLivs.

Advertising

We show ads via Google AdSense to all visitors. If you accept the cookie banner, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve personalized ads based on your visits to this and other websites. If you decline, we request non-personalized ads, which are chosen from the content of the page rather than a profile of you — Google still uses storage for frequency capping, reporting and fraud prevention. Visitors in the European Economic Area and the UK are shown a separate, Google-certified consent message for ad personalization.

AI-generated content

The words you submit are sent to AI services (Anthropic for text safety checks and prompt building, fal.ai for image generation) to create your sketch. These providers process the content to deliver the service and per their own privacy terms; we do not send them your IP address or any account information.

How long we keep things

Creations (words, story, image) are kept so shared links keep working. If you want a creation removed, email us the link and we'll take it down.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Because AdLivs has no accounts, the personal data we hold is limited; to exercise any right, contact us with the relevant creation link.
